Automated vertical carousels were originally developed to meet the needs of office filing.
Compared to filing cabinets, our vertical carousels offer significantly more storage in a smaller footprint. Based on the Ferris Wheel principal, a carousel stores inventory on a series of carriers that rotate within the machine. This brings the item to the user, eliminating walking and searching as well as much of the access space required for shelves or cabinets. Our vertical carousels can be equipped to carry end tab or top tab files, hanging folders, binders, index cards and office supplies of all kinds.
